The Gackenbach Wildlife Park is a real experience for the whole family: alpacas, raccoons, brown bears
and many other animal species can be observed here. But the special highlight for the little ones is the
adventure playground and the summer toboggan run.
Action is also offered by the forest playground in Horressen - an ideal stop on a tour to the nearby Köppel.
A visit to the Stöffel Tertiary Industrial and Adventure Park will also delight young and old alike.
The Hertha Lake or the Lahn River provide summer cooling: water lovers will not miss out on swimming,
splashing around, pedal boating or canoeing!

And after a leisurely walk in the Eisenbach Valley bordering the Gelbach Valley, a stop in the courtyard of the restaurant in the Hotel Freimühle is well worth it. For a self-designed gourmet evening in the cozy vacation home, we recommend shopping at the Italian delicatessen "Via del Gusto" in Montabaur.
